Yes. You are more than welcome to bring your bikes, scooters, and skateboards to BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Port Hughes. Just remember to bring your helmets!
Smoking of tobacco products and e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited by State/Territory law inside any enclosed buildings within the park, within 4 metres of the entrance and/or exit of the reception building and within 10 metres of a children's playground or any other recreational facilities.
Check in is from 12pm for sites, 2pm for ensuite sites and 2pm for cabins and check out is by 10am.
Early check ins are subject to availability. Please contact us if you are planning on arriving early.
Yes. Please advise us if you will be arriving outside normal office hours so arrangements can be made for the collection of reservation information, access codes and/or keys, park map and rules.
Yes. Dogs are permitted on our designated dog-friendly sites and cabins outside Easter and Christmas/New Year periods. These dog-friendly options are subject to availability so please ensure you enquire with the park prior to booking.
Yes. Open fires are permitted in fire pits provided at BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Port Hughes. If you choose to bring your own fire pit you must notify us at the time of booking to ensure it complies with guidelines.

Fishing
Fish off the long jetty in the crystal-clear blue waters. Blue swimmer crabs, garfish, tommies and squid are regular catches in the area.
Located at the Copper Coast Tourism Centre right next to The Farm Shed, this is the only Indoor Play Centre on the Yorke Peninsula. The Copper Coast’s family fun attraction is a must do.
The Copper Coast Old Engineering and Machinery Club runs mini railway rides. This handmade track operates twice a month at the Farm Shed complex and is a delight for all ages.
The Greg Norman designed golf course, Copperclub, is the centrepiece of The Dunes at Port Hughes. Its greens and fairways are rated amongst the best and is the only greens based course on the Yorke Peninsula.
The Moonta Mines Railway is a guided tour of the historic Moonta Mines State Heritage Area. Featuring extensive commentary from local drivers, passengers are taken past many historic landmarks of the former mining operations including the reservoir, ore sorting floors and through a tunnel in Ryan’s Tailings Heap.
Splash Town is the Copper Coast’s fun water park located by the foreshore at Moonta Bay. This free water play area has plenty to keep you entertained with a large number of slides, mushrooms and a large tipping water bucket.
Port Hughes Fishing Charters have been operating for over 20 years and has provided keen fishermen and women with amazing fishing adventures. Departing from Port Hughes, Barry’s boat will get you out to the middle of the Spencer Gulf in 40 – 60 minutes where he knows some of the best spots to go.
The Port Hughes Tavern features a beer garden, front bar, and pool table, overlooking the Port Hughes jetty. The tavern offers an extensive menu and is open for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.
Bond Store Wallaroo is a microbrewery, distillery and restaurant showcasing quality, local produce. Bond Store interacts with the local community whilst instilling pride in the region.
Fresh healthy eating meeting a range of dietary needs at Nook & Nourish. Serving up a range of items including smoothies, bowls, juices, coffee and tea from a seasonal menu.
Check out Café Capella for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whether you wish to dine in or takeaway Café Capella has something to suit your taste. There’s a vast menu of burgers, pizza, pasta and breakfast foods and they even deliver to Moonta and Port Hughes.
A crowd pleaser and family favourite, Caffe Primo has an abundance of delicious meals on offer for lunch and dinner. From butter chicken, to carbonara and even fish and chips, you’ll be absolutely spoiled for choice.
The Coffee Barn and Gelateria Moonta make all their gelato on the premises and their sweet and savoury pancakes are made fresh to order. There are plenty of other treats including handmade truffles, shortbread slices, rocky road, melting moments and much more.
The Moonta Hotel prides itself on the provision of quality restaurant meals, tasty bar snacks and filling traditional pub counter meals. If required the Moonta Hotel also provides a courtesy bus for patrons.

A short drive away from the historic town of Maitland, Barley Stacks Wines offers visitors a unique Australian experience unlike any other. The wine produced at Barley Stacks Wines is made from the grapes grown in the Barley Stacks Wines vineyards which are crushed, fermented, stored and bottled right on site.
Walk between Simms Cove Point, Moonta Bay and South Beach taking in the beautiful coastline. There are interpretive signs along the trail providing an insight into the history of the area.

Lake Bumbunga is a salt lake changing colour from pink, to white, to blue throughout the year. Only a 45 minute out of Port Hughes to sight the bubble gum shores.
Beacon Reserve Lookout has views out over South Beach, Spencer Gulf, the Port Hughes foreshore, and jetty. The beacon was rescued by the local community and now lights the area of the reserve.
The Port Hughes jetty is one of the most popular fishing spots on the Yorke Peninsula. Fish off the Port Hughes jetty for blue swimmer crabs, tommy ruff, garfish and squid.
The farm Shed Heritage Museum brings together the farming stories from the last 50 years. There are self-guided tours available or walk through at your own pace on a self-guided tour.
