Rainbow Beach
Breeze Rainbow Beach is for the nature-lovers; coloured sands and crystal blue waters are the perfect start to your Queensland loop. Just three-hours north of Brisbane you can sink your feet into the soft sands of Carlo Sandblow, experience the unspoilt coast on horseback, cool off in Searys Creek or kayak with the dolphins off Double Island Point. You may even luck out and spot a whale during their spring migration down the east coast. Rainbow Beach is also your gateway to the world-famous heritage-listed K’gari (formerly Fraser Island). Known for its incredible landscape, you can take a day trip to the island and enjoy the wonders through a guided tour. Head back to Breeze and hire a stand-up paddle board for the afternoon to enjoy some quality family time on the water off Carlo Point or grab a pedal kart and rip around the park.
Bargara
Two and a half hours up the Pacific Coast Way is the beautiful Bargara. Welcome to the Southern Great Barrier Reef, home of the loggerhead turtle and incredible dining experiences. Mon Repos is perfect for exploring marine turtles, with its education centre and guided after-dark tours. We guarantee you’ll leave with a new appreciation for their life journey and the importance of protecting this ancient species. The Bargara region is rapidly becoming known for its foodie lifestyle, boasting incredible cafes, restaurants and the infamous Bundaberg Rum Distillery. At Breeze Bargara we love a food truck - on Thursdays we host the Tasty Street Food Van and wood fire pizza on Fridays. Your stop wouldn't be complete without an ocean dip! Wander 100 metres from Breeze and soak up the sunshine on Bargara's golden sands and crystal blue waters.
Cania Gorge
Heading inland, a three and a bit hour drive reveals the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Cania Gorge; an ancient wonderland sculpted by dramatic weather events. Towering cliffs, curving creeks, eucalypt woodlands, sparkling lakes form this stunning Queensland escape. Explore the wilderness along one the eight walking tracks that wind through the Gorge. Different tracks cater for different experience levels, making the Cania Gorge tracks friendly for all. Take time out at Breeze in the Splash & Play water zone or challenge the family to a round of frisbee golf. Finish your Friday with fish & chips or your Saturday with a wood fire pizza. Late night entertainment is covered in The Gorge Room, kitted out with a pool table and arcade games.
Carnarvon Gorge
