Located 40 mins south of our Port Hughes holiday park, the vineyard is a complete experience in itself. This fresh-faced vineyard has been producing some of the Yorke Peninsula’s best wine since 1996. Every step of the process is carried out on-site, so if you’re drinking a bottle of Barley Stacks, you can rest assured that its grapes have been grown, crushed, fermented and bottled locally. On your visit be sure to head on to the Barley Stacks Cellar Door, where you can sip on an array of their finest wines that are carefully curated by Barley’s best experts. If your baby/furbaby-sitter is out of town, there’s no need to stress, the Cellar Door is both family and pet-friendly. NO.58 Cellar Door

NO.58 Cellar Door is situated on the beautiful historic grounds of Waverley Estate on Waterport Road in the town of Port Elliot. Here you can sample some of Southern’s Fleurieu best wine from Thunderbird while also selecting nibblies from their delicious menu. Perfect combo if you ask me! The Cellar Door gives you the choice of inside seating with their longer tables for bigger group bookings and outside on the deck where you can soak up the beautiful South Australian sun while overlooking the vines. In between the food and wine, make sure you find some time to visit the art gallery inside. All of the pieces are from local and regional creatives who love to regularly showcase their work to visitors. Fallen Giants

Looking for a place where you can relax without the worry of trying to keep the kids entertained? Fallen Giants is the vineyard for you. Christened as Fallen Giants in 2013, this gorgeous vineyard pays tributes to its original owners, the Djab Wurrung and Jardiwadjali people and their incredible stories. The vineyards produce Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling over the 23 acres of vines, all of which you can test out at the Fallen Giants well loved wine tastings. Not only does this vineyard boast an array of incredible wines but it also offers some spectacular views of the Grampians National Park setting, all from the deck of its Cellar Door. If you do get a bit peckish on your visit, there’s an incredible platter on offer that’s produce is all locally sourced. This is where the kids come into play, literally. They have a kid’s playground on-site to keep the little ones occupied while the parents can set up a blanket on site for a picnic on the plush lawn, on-site BBQs are provided for visitors to use for a cook upswell. Now if you think that isn’t enough Fallen Giants also has open-air cinemas, exhibitions and small music festivals as regular events for everyone to enjoy.
