The bay isn’t just for lounging, fishing, kayaking and marine animal spotting is also on the cards. Nature is never to far away in WA and during the season migrating whales can be spotted gliding offshore as well as dolphins and other animals.
At sunset the skies turn to a canvas of pinks and purples that locals and visitors will never get tired of.

Jetty Dreams
Your visit to Busselton is not complete without stepping onto the towns most iconic landmark, the famous Busselton Jetty. Stretching out into the ocean an impressive 1.8km, it is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Experiencing the jetty is as much about the journey as the destination.
Listen to gentle waves below and see the seabirds circling above as you walk the jetty at your own pace or take the charming Jetty Train all the way to the end. Once you reach the end, descend into the underwater world of the Observatory. Large viewing windows allow you to get a glimpse of the thriving marine life that call the bay home. So you get the benefits of snorkelling all without getting wet!
Just note there is a small fee to access the jetty and its many adventures.
Feast by the Sea
Busselton is no slouch when it comes to food and drink, with a thriving cafe scene with artisan coffee, fresh seafood picked right out of the sea and a solid dose of country hospitality. Markets pop up regularly with amazing local produce and handmade arts and crafts.
Shelter Brewing Co was born and brewed right in the heart of Busselton by six brothers belonging to two local families. Sitting at the foot of the Busselton Jetty, overlooking the foreshore it is the perfect place to wash away the salt of the day with a great feed and a cold one. With multiple dining options the whole fam with be covered including your pup!
The Margaret River region is known for its stellar food and beverage scene, with world-class wineries, breweries and farm-to-table dining. From Busselton you are less than an hour from some of the most scenic vineyards and acclaimed cellar doors in Australia. In Busselton itself, head to Leeuwin Estate for a great tasting experience.
