Yes, our park facilities are only open to guests staying within the park, however, we welcome anyone holidaying or living around Carnarvon Gorge to our convenience store and Taka Bush Bar.
Yes. You are more than welcome to bring your bikes, scooters, and skateboards to BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Carnarvon Gorge. Just remember to bring your helmets!
Smoking of tobacco products and e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited by State/Territory law inside any enclosed buildings within the park, within 5 metres of any entrance or exit of buildings and within 10 metres of a children's playground or any other recreational facilities.
Check in is from 12pm for sites and 2pm for cabins and check out is by 10am.
Early check ins are subject to availability. Please contact us if you are planning on arriving early.
Yes. Please advise us if you will be arriving outside normal office hours so arrangements can be made for the collection of reservation information, access codes and/or keys, park maps and rules.
No. Dogs are not permitted at BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Carnarvon Gorge due to being located inside the Carnarvon National Park.
Yes. Fires are only permitted in the communal fire pits supplied by BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Carnarvon Gorge throughout most of the year. From November 1 to February 28 each year, we aren't able to allow fires due to hot and dry weather conditions.

Yes. Linen is supplied in all cabins and Taka Tents.
There are no fuel stations in Carnarvon Gorge. The nearest towns are Rolleston (101km), Injune (150km) and Springsure (171km) so remember to fill up on the way to BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Carnarvon Gorge.
There is limited mobile coverage within BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Carnarvon Gorge and between the closest towns.
We have washing machines and two dryers in our laundry.
We have limited supplies at Carnarvon Gorge, remember to bring plenty of food and drinks for your trip. If you do forget something, we do have a convenience store for some necessities.
We have put together a list of our top environmental tips while exploring the Carnarvon National Park.
• Please do not build stone cairns (rock stacking).
• Please do not graffiti the trees, gorge walls, rock (scratched marks).
• Please remember to take all of your rubbish with you. There are no bins located within Carnarvon Gorge.
• Please ensure the correct bush toileting etiquette is adhered to along the walking tracks. There are toilets located at the Carnarvon Gorge main campground (only open during school holidays), Day Use Area, Rockpools, Moss Garden and Big Bend.
• Please refrain from taking appealing sticks that are habitat for walking. We encourage the use of hiking poles for creek crossings and walking stability.
• Please stay on the paths and staircases.
• Please do not throw sticks, rocks and stones into the creeks. The ripple effect is detrimental to our water life and culturally disrespectful.
