Nitmiluk National Park

Explore the world-famous park and gorge country by foot, canoe, boat, or helicopter. Venture through the 13-gorge system to spot waterfalls, sandy freshwater beaches, wildlife and Aboriginal rock art.

Katherine Hot Springs

Take a dip in series of clear pool framed hot springs framed but native vegetation. Katherine Hot Springs are natural thermal springs situated on the banks of Katherine River.

Cutta Cutta Caves

Visit the Cutta Cutta Caves to see sparkling limestone formations of stalactites and stalagmites and 5 different spices of bats. Take a guided tour of the caves with Nikmiluk Tours where they will take you 15 metres below the surface.

Bitter Springs

Relax and unwind in the spring fed thermal pools set amongst the palms and tropical woodlands. Swim in the crystal clear springs only a short walk from the carpark.

Edith Falls (Leliyn)

The stunning natural swimming hole at the base of the cascading falls is located in the Nitmiluk National Park. There are series of pools and falls along the Edith River.

The Top Didj Cultural Experience is a unique cultural experience to interact with Top End Aboriginal artist Manuel Pamkal. You will learn about the aboriginal culture as well as the significance of his painting style, weapons used and how he lived off the land.

Katherine Outback Experience

Watch Tom Curtain’s 90-minute show where you will be able to witness authentic horse-breaking, a working dog demonstration and performances with his trick horse. Katherine Outlook Experience commemorates the Northern Territory’s rich pastoral culture and history.

Katherine Railway Station

Visit the Katherine Railway Station to view the only concrete railway station that was built in 1926. It is currently owned and operated by the National Trust, and operating hours are Tuesday to Thursday 10am – noon and Friday and Saturday 10am – 2pm.
