What is World Environment Day
Observed every year on June 5th, World Environment Day in the United Nations’ biggest platform for raising awareness and action for the environment. This years theme calls for collective action to tackle plastic pollution. Plastic pollution permeates every corner of the planet- even in our bodies in the form of microplastics.
By drawing inspiration from nature and showcasing real-world solutions, the campaign will encourage all to adopt sustainable practices that drive change. It’s a timely reminder that even small actions can lead to big changes.

We provide clearly marked recycling stations, and we work to reduce the use of single-use plastics throughout the site.

We offer bike rentals at many of our parks as well as having great local pathways for walking to reduce the need for taking your vehicle.
How You Can Get Involved
While you are staying with us, here are a few easy ways that you can to can help protect our wonderful natures.
Take a Nature Walk
Get up close and personal in our iconic locations, go for a hike through the Grampians National Park, visit Nitmiluk and take a swim in Leliyn (Edith Falls). Walk down and enjoy a day at the beach 180 metres from Breeze Busselton or soak at Ikoymarrwa (Moline) Falls.
Support Local
Head into town and support our local vendors, so many of our towns have incredible markets with local produce. Visit the incredible wineries and restaurants and support sustainable businesses.
Turn It Off
Save energy by turning off lights and appliances when they are not in use. This also helps reduce light pollution, giving us those incredible night sky scapes we all adore.
Clean Up When You Leave
Keep your site or cabin neat and clean and utilise our recycling bins before you leave.
